After completing Crash Course 2 and reviewing all of the information on the modules and quizzes. I must say that I feel this course is very good training for entry-level appraisers. As an older adjuster, with years of experience in the auto collision repair field, ( both working for insurance companies as well as repair shops at different points), I felt like it started too slow and decided to talk with Chris about this. After talking with him I agree that many entry-level students would need this, because many had absolutely no experience with auto repair and starting from scratch is a must. I was, however, happy to see that as the modules progressed we got into the more technical material and processes involved in the actual repair and painting of the damaged vehicles. All said and done, the course covered nicely how to go out and write an acceptable estimate, that I feel any shop would be happy to start repairs from. The one thing I believe should be added is the section on airbags and restraints that you briefed us on in the last lesson. we all know the significant role the play in cost determination and most importantly the fact that insurance companies never want these replaced with used or aftermarket parts! So all and all I give this Crash course 2 an A- I think people will like the condensed version and I think Chris does a great job of presenting the material. the A--- is because it needs the restraint module added and then it's A+ material. Thanks Chris, enjoyed the training and the great communication. Look forward to working with IA-Path and you in the near future.Read Less
